Re: "Dispelling Darkness" By Dana Christina Williams in the We Rise In Power Book

"We feel we already know the injustices and inequities that some of us face in daily life, but reading such a raw account of the impacts through Christina's superhero like survival story, makes it impossible to turn away. I cried alongside her and then cheered in awe of her resilience. Christina's work is a reminder to those of us that have experienced harm that we are not alone, and that we are among strong, resourceful women, capable of anything, that we ARE those strong capable women. It’s a celebration, a beacon, a call to action, and a reminder that while we are making progress, the work is not done."
